Is there a Saturday Wilmington Pride event in June? I’m trying to find a vendor’s application.
There is a Saturday event and a sunday event. Hopfully, I will upload everything tonight or tomorrow.
I am looking for a guest speaker for a Social Problems class I teach at Brunswick Community College. We need a speaker on March 20, for about 40 minutes between 9:30 and 10:40. The class is working on “social solutions” projects, and they would like a speaker who has worked to bring about social change to address a social problem. Some of the students are very conservative, but one is liberal and one is radical. We have been discussing the Defense of Marriage proposal, and I read about Wilmington Pride in the newspaper after the county commissioners voted to support the proposal.
